Experiment 1 soaking test

Experimental results: There are also fast and slow fades

Through the above experiments, it is found that the color of towels is also fast and slow. According to reports, because the main reason for unqualified towels is that the water absorption and color fastness are not up to standard, the towels with poor color fastness will obviously fade, and the quality is also discounted. In general, a good quality towel will only wash away some of the floating color on the first wash. If you fade every time, it is best not to wash your face with this quality towel, otherwise it will be like washing your face with “chemical dyes”. Over time, it will cause damage to the skin.

Experiment two water absorption test

The water absorption of the towel was determined by the sedimentation method: The towel of the same size was selected and the water absorption was good or bad by determining the time required for the soaking.

Use a stopwatch to time it. The first "test water" was a blue-green-red towel. While putting the towel on the water, press the stopwatch “Start” immediately. After seeing the towel in the water, it began to absorb water. Due to the absorption of moisture, the corners of the towel begin to sink into the water and only some of the surface fluff is exposed on the water. Afterwards, as the water absorption increases, the entire towel is soaked in water. Press "Stop" for a total of 11 seconds before and after. Followed by a red check pattern towel. When I saw the towel in the water, it began to sink. After a while, it was completely soaked. It took only 6 seconds.

After the colored towel was put into the water, 10 seconds passed and the towel still floated on the water. After 5 minutes, the towel still did not absorb water and remained floating on the water.

Experimental results: towels absorb water regularly

The water-absorbing towel seems to sink evenly due to the speed of penetration. However, if it is slower to absorb water, like the first towel, the edges appear to be suspended in the water, while the middle part is dry, showing a curved surface.
