Wow, it's incredible to see how many amazing versions of the Sunny Day Shorts pattern have been popping up everywhere! It's clear that this design has really resonated with people. I've pulled together some photos from the comments section of the original post to give you all some inspiration. There’s definitely something here for every style and taste.
We’ll begin with leanhchi, who used floral fabric from the Lisette collection. The result is just beautiful—such a classic and feminine look.
Next up, Mama_knowles03 went for a fun and playful twist by making shorts out of hot pink ruffle knit fabric. These are perfect for layering under dresses for trips to the playground.
Teri Dodds took a more nautical route by creating a pair using blue and white striped seersucker fabric. She added a cute star appliqué for an extra touch of charm.
This next pair caught my eye right away. They’re made from Anna Maria Horner linen and feature not only seven adorable pockets but also a stylish bow at the waistband.
Lea Zzzzhhh put her own spin on things by adding a contrast waistband and a pocket in the back with piping along the top edge. Such a sleek and polished finish!
Goldenbear80 got creative with plaid patchwork fabric while still keeping things simple with a contrasting waistband. This gives the shorts a unique, patchwork feel.
