Vinylon, also known as Vinylon, is the name of the product of polyvinyl alcohol fiber in our country. It is a generic name for a synthetic fiber made from polyvinyl alcohol. Vinylon's main products are cutting short fibers and cutting yarns. The short fibers can be purely spun or blended with cotton, wool, viscose fibers, etc., and used for the production of woven or knitted fabrics such as coats, sweatshirts, cotton sweater trousers, sweatshirts, and the like. Vinylon cutting yarn can be used to make various kinds of taking products, storage cloth, canvas, banana conveyor belt or rickshaw tire cords, ropes, fishing nets, and packaging materials.
One-dimensional fabric performance Vinylon fabric has the advantages of good moisture absorption, strong abrasion resistance, high strength, good corrosion resistance, good chemical stability, and good light resistance.
The disadvantage of vinylon fabrics is that the hot water resistance is not good enough, and if the heating path is 115°C in the wet state, significant shrinkage will occur. In boiling water, the strength will be reduced by 1/3. If boiled in water for 3 ~ 4h, the fabric may be deformed or partially dissolved. However, the heat resistance in the dry state is still relatively good. The softening point of vinylon is about 220 ~ 230 °C. The elasticity of vinylon is poor, the fabric is easy to wrinkle, and the dyeing performance is also poor. Generally, neutral dyes and sulphur dyes are used for dyeing.
The main varieties and uses of 2D fabrics (a) Cotton/Viping Using 50% cotton blended with 50% vinylon, or 67% cotton blended with 33% vinylon, woven into plain weave. The difference between the front and the back is that there are few impurities on the surface of the cloth, and it is even and durable. It is finer than the cotton cloth, soft and smooth, with a pure white color and good gloss. It is suitable for being used in various clothing.
(b) Cotton/web cloth It is blended with 50% cotton and 50% vinylon and woven into plain weave. The cloth is smooth, rich in luster, thin cloth, feel cool, suitable for shirts and skirts.
(c) Cotton/Vevada 1 Using 50% cotton and 50% vinylon blended textile. The cloth is smooth, the lines are clear, and the cloth is thin and soft, suitable for outerwear or pants.
2 Blended with 67% cotton and 33% vinylon, weave with 2 up and 2 down twill weaves. The color is not as good as the cotton gabardine, and the heat resistance is poor. The strength and wear resistance are better than the cotton gabardine.
(d) Uyghur/Viscose Huada, V/Visco Using 50% vinylon blended with 50% viscose fiber, weave with 2 up and 2 twill weaves. The same front and back, the fabric texture is thick, tight, tough and durable, looks like a wool fabric, gloss is better than wool fabrics.
(five) V/BV, V/A plain weave 1 70% vinylon blended with 30% viscose fiber and woven into plain weave. The yarn is thick and the vinylon content is high. The fabric is thick and durable.
2 50% vinylon blended with 50% viscose fiber and woven into plain weave. The yarn is fine, the density is strong, the fabric is compact and light, and the surface is smooth.
3 Use 50% vinylon blended with 50% viscose fiber and woven into plain weave. Yarn twist is large, feel very cool, the same as the positive and negative, the color is second only to pure wool fabrics, but the shrinkage rate, poor heat resistance.
(vi) Cotton/Reticulum It is woven with 50% cotton and 50% vinylon blended yarn. The cloth is smooth and the fabric is thin. It is suitable for shirts and skirts. After waterproof coating, it can be used as a windbreaker.
The elasticity of vinylon is poor, and the product tends to wrinkle when worn. Therefore, it is generally not necessary to use blended textiles of vinylon and elastic wool as the wool fabric.
