How to identify the ink and distinguish the good ink

Mocium is mainly composed of omphacite and can contain other minerals. It is green when it is thin, black when it is thick, and has good light transmission and water head. The ink is black, the green is green, the dark green is black, and the green is green.

Evaluation

The person who knows the ink is deep, because it is the same as the ink. The naked eye is black. It can be light but green. His beauty is restrained.

"Mo Cui" is a omphacite jadeite composed of omphacite as its main constituent mineral. Its refractive index is slightly higher. The spot is around 1.68. The whole is uniform and deep dark green. It can be observed with the naked eye:

1. Look at the color: it is black or dark green under the reflected light, and the projected light is seen as green or dark green;

2. Look at transparency and structure: fine texture, dense particles and good transparency.

The "Mu Cui" on the market, in fact, there are several kinds of green Hui oil green, green Hui graphite green, Hui graphite green, black jade. Of course, there are ordinary oil green or blue water, which is similar to ink green because of the deep color and thick clothes. The following is explained by the map. (The following are the brothers jade factory craft, please do not steal the map)

Very ordinary ink green, the eyes are dark green. The light is green

Another certificate description: The most common ink identification certificate is as shown in the figure below. The color column is marked with “ink green”, and the labels of other columns are the same as the standard label of jade. In the column of “Remarks”, most of the remarks are marked with a few “*” signs. Some will also mark the omphacite in the "Remarks" column, which is also the ink green. (pictured)

A kind of jade that is easy to be confused with ink green is amethyst jade. The main constituent mineral of "Xinshi jade" is hornblende, which is a phoenix mineral that is symbiotic with jadeite. It is an impurity in jadeite. The small one is called "fly cockroach" and the big one is called "癣". Amphibole is the general name for the hornblende minerals. The hornblende in the jadeite is alkaline blue amphibole. The crystals are mostly columnar and the color is dark green to black. The difference between amphibole jade and ink jade is that the amphibole jade is opaque and the refractive index is obviously low. The sample is measured at 1.611.63. A small amount of jadeite minerals may also be present in amphibole, but it is not a major mineral. The correct name for this sample with hornblende as the main constituent mineral should be "Amethyst Jade", which cannot be equivalent to jade.
